Siliguri, 18th March: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, various political parties are engaged in campaigning for the party. Likewise, Left Front candidate Ashok Bhattacharya campaigned in Prantik pally situated in Ward No. 24 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, on Wednesday.
While he campaigned on foot, Bhattacharya was accompanied by his party leaders and activists. Taking a jibe at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the left leader alleged that the Home Minister Amit Shah had to cancel three public meetings due to lack of supporters. He alleged that in the coming days, BJP will split up like the Trinamool Congress.
