Siliguri, 17th November: A stir arose in Ashighar More in Siliguri after thieves stole cash and other valuables from a hardware store. Reportedly, the shop owner Shyamal Saha reached to open his store this morning but found the ceiling broken with a rope hanging beside it. Also, things kept inside the store were scattered. Shyamal’s fear turned into reality when he discovered money, a laptop and other valuable items missing from the cash box.
The matter was reported to the Ashighar Out Post Police after which the police started probing into the matter. Speaking on the incident Shyamal Saha said that he was shocked by the burglary incident, as the streets along Ashighar Eastern Bypass are constantly under police patrol till late at night.
