Siliguri, 03rd December: Amid escalating political unrest in Bangladesh, anti-Yunus posters have surfaced in Siliguri. The posters are directed against Mohammad Yunus, the head of Bangladesh’s interim government, which was formed following a period of political instability.
Reportedly, since the establishment of the interim government under Yunus’ leadership, reports of attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh have sharply increased. The situation worsened after the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, an ISKCON monk, which has further fueled tensions in the country.
In response, protests have erupted in various parts of India, including Siliguri. Anti-Yunus posters have been spotted around the city, particularly near schools and major streets.
