Rajganj, 31st January: The annual puja and fair of 51 Shakti Peeth Trisrota Maa Bhramari Devi has begun in Bodaganj, under Baropatia Gram Panchayat in the Rajganj Assembly constituency. The five-day event was inaugurated on the occasion of Magh Purnima.
The inauguration included a lamp-lighting ceremony performed by Krishna Das, District President of SC & OBC Cell and social worker, along with the temple’s Chief priest Lala Baba, Ranger Rajkumar Pal of Belakoba Range, and other distinguished guests. After the inauguration, clothes were distributed among approximately 450 needy and underprivileged people in the area.
Krishna Das stated that the annual puja of Maa Bhramari Devi is held every year on Magh Purnima and this year marks the 54th year of the celebration. He added that the puja is being conducted with special grandeur this year.
Alongside the puja, a fair is being organized which will continue until 5th February. The fair will feature daily cultural programs, and arrangements have been made for the distribution of prasad to devotees.
