Siliguri, 28th February: The 11th Biennial conference of the NF Railway Pensioners Association was held, today, at the Railway Pensioners Office near Gatebazar. Around 400 delegates attended the conference. The speakers of the Conference opposed the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA), the National Register of Citizens (NRC), and the National Population Register (NPR) implemented by the Central Government. They also opposed the wrong policies of the Center regarding the pension.
The conference was inaugurated by the Siliguri MLA and the Mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Ashok Bhattacharya. The President of the Association Bimalendu Chakraborty and many other dignitaries were present during the conference.
