Kurseong, 19th October: After a horrific road accident took place in Nurbong Tea Garden under Kurseong sub-division, GTA Chairman Anit Thapa met the mourning family of the victims and also visited Sukna Hospital this morning to meet the injured. He further assured to help the injured in any way possible.
Reportedly, Thapa spoke to the concerned police station regarding the postmortem of the deceased and also urged the District Magistrate S. Ponnambalam to look into the matter.
It is to recall, two persons lost their lives in an accident at Nurbong Tea Garden yesterday while they were travelling in a pickup van. Later in the evening, another person succumbed to his injures during treatment.
Reportedly, two more are in critical condition and are undergoing treatment at the Sukna Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Suraj Thapa (26), Dipal Thapa (22) and Ashwin Tamang.
