Rajganj, 18th January: On Thursday, the Animal Resource Development Department distributed domestic animals to sixteen individuals in Rajganj. During this, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Rupali Dey Sarkar, Sahakari Sabhadhipati Kavita Chhetri Saiba, Rajganj BDO Prashant Barman with others were present.
According to reports, cows, and piglets were delivered to the Rajganj BDO office under the initiative of the Panchayat Samiti of Rajganj and under the management of the Animal Resource Development Department. Subsequently, six individuals from Sukhani and Shikarpur Gram Panchayat areas of Rajganj were given a cow each, and ten individuals of Mantadari Gram Panchayat were given two piglets each.
