Amra Bangali’s 12-hour strike against Gorkhaland makes no effect in Siliguri

Siliguri, 07th October: The 12-hour strike called against the Gorkhaland issue on behalf of ‘Amra Bangali’ had no considerable effect in Siliguri.


Reportedly, ’Amra Bangali’ organization has started raising voice against the separate state Gorkhaland. The organization members took to the streets in this regard and a strike was called across Darjeeling district today.

However, no such effect was spotted in Siliguri. All shops were open and numerous vehicles were spotted plying on the streets.
