Siliguri, 22nd May: After cyclonic storm Amphan created havoc in Bengal, Manoj Roy, a resident of Maynaguri, donated one lakh rupees in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
As per the information, Roy handed over the cheque to State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb on Friday. Apart from this, he also stepped forward to help the health workers who visited Maynaguri block to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. He arranged a hotel for their stay and also handed over one-month rent to the hotel owner.
Minister Goutam Deb highly praised the initiative taken by Roy.
