Malda, 07th January: Due to non-payment of dues, the All Bengal Nischay Yan Ambulance Operators Union stopped their service. This service was closed today at Moulpur Rural Hospital in Old Malda block, due to which the families of pregnant women and other patients had to face various problems.
The members of the union alleged that their dues have not been cleared for the last 5-10 months. Hence, they decided to discontinue all services until the pending bills are cleared. It is alleged that despite informing the concerned department repeatedly, no heed was paid to the union members. Meanwhile, the Health Department has not responded to the issue,
