Rajganj, 19th November: A woman from Ambari, suffering from a severe kidney ailment, has nearly halted her treatment due to financial constraints despite traveling out of state for medical care. Her distressed mother is going door-to-door with her two grandsons, seeking help for her daughter’s treatment.
Reportedly, Deepa Sarkar, the daughter of Kanan Sarkar from Mahamaya Colony in Ambari, Binnaguri Gram Panchayat under Rajganj Block, has been battling a complex kidney disease. Married to Mahesh Sarkar of Maynaguri 12 years ago, the family has been residing in a rented house in the Fulbari area. Mahesh, a driver by profession, supports the family of four, including their two sons.
Deepa’s health took a turn for the worse three months ago when she was diagnosed with the condition. Initially treated at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) using their savings, her condition did not improve. With the assistance of locals, she was referred to Bangalore for advanced treatment.
Unfortunately, her treatment has nearly stopped due to a lack of funds. Deepa’s mother, Kanan Devi, has been tirelessly seeking financial aid, losing sleep over how to save her daughter. She has made an emotional appeal for help. Those willing to assist can contact: 83709 65242.
