Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended due to unfavorable weather conditions. On Friday, the pilgrimage, which takes place annually, was halted as heavy rainfall started in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of the day.
Reports indicate that the holy journey to the pilgrimage site has been suspended along both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes. Authorities and devotees are hopeful that the Yatra will resume once the weather improves and becomes favorable again.
It is important to mention that the annual Yatra began on July 01 and is scheduled to conclude on August 31.
