Siliguri, 26th May: Amid the second wave of Coronavirus, ‘Amader Udyog’ organization has launched a unique initiative to raise COVID-19 awareness among the general public.
The members of the organization dressed one of their members as a corpse wearing a PPE kit and placed it inside the ambulance. This awareness programme is being carried out in different places of the city. The ones spotted without masks are being summoned and the dead body is being shown to them.
On behalf of the organization, Pradeep Chowdhury said that people are still not completely aware of the deadly situation, hence this initiative had to be taken to show them the scenario for the coming days.
