Naxalbari, 07th September: An allegation of collecting money for filling out forms at the Duare Sarkar camp surfaced in Naxalbari. This incident occurred at the Naxalbari Nand Prasad Higher Secondary School camp.
Today, during the camp, an individual was reportedly collecting money under a tree, claiming it was for filling out forms. Upon noticing this, the local administration apprehended the accused and handed him over to the Naxalbari police station.
Bishwajeet Ghosh, the Upa Pradhan of Naxalbari Gram Panchayat, stated that various projects are being undertaken at the Duare Sarkar camp, and there is no legitimate fee required for these state government programs. He assured that the matter has been reported to the administration, and appropriate action will be taken.
Arindam Mandal, the BDO (Block Development Officer) of Naxalbari, also pledged to investigate the entire incident and take necessary action.
