During a press conference at Nabanna on Friday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that all places of worship will open in the state from June 1. However, not more than ten people will be allowed to assemble at a time.
Banerjee stated that the gates of all the religious places will open at 10 am and the devotees must wear mouth masks and maintain social distance among themselves. She further stated that the administration will take necessary steps if the rules are violated.
