Rajganj, 15th December: All-India Matua, Namasudra and Refugee Development Board held a meeting at Fulbari, on Wednesday. The meeting was held at Natunhat in East Dhantala of Fulbari No. 02 Gram Panchayat with the refugees.
Ranjit Sarkar, Chairman of All India Matua, Namasudra, and Refugee Development Board, said that these communities had various problems with documents earlier. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had taken initiatives to resolve these issues to some extent.
The meeting was attended by Ranjit Sarkar, Chairman of the State Committee of All India Matua, Namasudra and Refugee Development Board, Ranjan Sarkar, Member of Jalpaiguri District Committee of Matua Federation, Sanjivan Sarkar, Member of Regional Committee of Refugee Cell, Dilip Roy, Gram Panchayat Pradhan and others.
