Alipurduar’s Mahima Parveen, a vegetable seller’s daughter, excels in HS Exam, aspires to become WBCS officer

Alipurduar, 10th May: Mahima Parveen, a student from Alipurduar, exemplifies perseverance, having achieved outstanding results in her higher secondary examinations through sheer determination and hard work. Significantly, in the face of adversity, individuals who persist in pursuing their dreams serve as beacons of inspiration, especially when they achieve remarkable success.


Mahima Parveen, a resident of Kajali Halt area, harbors aspirations of becoming a WBCS officer, despite hailing from a humble background. A student at Jateswar High School in Falakata Block, Alipurduar, Mahima has secured an impressive 472 marks in her higher secondary exams.

Her father, Mahbul Alam, supports the family by selling vegetables from a Toto, highlighting the financial challenges they face. Nonetheless, Mahima’s exceptional academic performance has garnered widespread acclaim.


Expressing his daughter’s aspirations, Mahbul Alam emphasized Mahima’s dream of becoming a WBCS officer. While uncertain about the future, he remains hopeful that with support from the administration, Mahima will undoubtedly achieve her goals.
