Alipurduar, 13th January: Under the ‘Safe Drive Save Life’ programme, the traffic police served tea to the drivers to keep them fresh during the long journey and avoid road accidents.
As per the report, the Alipurduar District Traffic Police provided tea to the drivers of all the vehicles plying on the Asian Highway in the Madarihat Toll Plaza area, around 4 am – 6.30 am.
Alipurduar Traffic Inspector Joydev Modak, Hasimara Traffic OC Bijoy Dey, and other police personnel and civic volunteers were present during the programme.
