Alipurduar, 21st February: The Trinamool Congress leaders campaigned in support of “Bangla nijer meyeke chae” (Bengal wants its own daughter) at the Alipurduar district office.
Reportedly, TMC district president Mridul Goswami officially launched the camp today during a press conference at the party’s district office located in the Alipurduar College Halt area.
Beside Mridul Goswami, Alipurduar MLA and District Spokesperson Sourav Chakraborty, Alipurduar TMCP President Samir Ghosh and other leaders were present on the occasion.
Addressing the media, District President Mridul Goswami stated that Bengal is falling victim to repeated deprivation. In view of this, the district TMC aspires to go ahead with the slogan of ‘Bangla Nijer Meyeke Chae’ in the upcoming assembly.
