Alipurduar, 16th July: In an initiative aimed at tourists, the Alipurduar District Administration has launched a cycle facility. This move will now facilitate the tourists to tour Dooars on a cycle. On Sunday, the facility has been started for tourists from Damanpur to Rajabhatkhawa.
According to reports, upon making a minimum payment of rupees 50, tourists will now be able to explore Buxa Reserve area on a bicycle. Today, the Alipurduar District Administration under a project named ‘Dooars Darshan’ handed over 5 cycles to a self-reliant group of the Rajabhatkhawa area of Buxa Tiger Reserve. The service has been launched from the Damanpur area on Sunday morning. During the launch, Alipurduar District Magistrate Surendra Kumar Meena, Additional District Magistrate Smriti Ranjan Mahanty, and Additional Field Officer of the project Praveen Kaswan, along with other officials were present.
