Siliguri, 29th December: Various programmes are being carried out on the 50th anniversary of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI). A huge rally was organized on Tuesday in front of Siliguri Baghajatin Park under the leadership of SFI leader Aishe Ghosh.
During the rally, Aishe Ghosh said that the schools and colleges should be sanitized and reopened soon. Failing which, they will stage movements.
Besides, in the context of Amartya Sen’s political remarks, she said that Sen has said that the democracy of the country is being destroyed. The central and state government should pay attention to this matter.
