Siliguri, 16th May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, the All India Students’ Federation (AISF), as well as the Siliguri Regional Committee, distributed cooked meals among 80 poor children in the Siliguri Town station area.
Siliguri Regional Committee Secretary Ankit Dey, President Suraj Kundu, Vice-President Sukriti Aash, District Secretariat member Rituparna Ghosh and many other dignitaries were present during the programme.
The organization members stated that they had earlier distributed sanitary napkins among several women and assured of adopting more such initiatives in the future.
