Bagdogra, 21st November: AIMIM won 5 seats in the Bihar elections. Following the victory, AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi arrived for Bihar visit. After landing at Bagdogra Airport on Friday, Owaisi thanked the people of Bihar, especially from the Seemanchal region, for their support in the elections.
When asked about the Chief Minister’s appeal against SIR and the call for a halt, he said that the Chief Minister would comment on the matter and he had nothing to say. Later, he departed for Bihar via road.
