Siliguri, 18th June: The Asian Goju Ryu Karate Federation (AGKF) Karate Championship was organized at Kathmandu in Nepal on the 16th and 17th of June 2023. The participants of the championship made Siliguri proud by winning 4 medals.
Reportedly, 7 selected students of the Kaizen Karate-Do Association participated in the said event. Shihan Debasish Dhali, the Chief Technical Director of the association, was in charge of the team and training. In the championship, Reshmi Barman won gold, Tanuska Biswas won two bronze medals in the junior girls Kata and Kumite category, and Dhiraj Thakur won a bronze medal in the junior boys Kumite category.
