Alipurduar, 26th December: An adult leopard was captured in a cage set up by the forest department in a tea garden.
Reportedly, on Thursday morning, locals spotted the leopard trapped in the cage at the Outdivision Number 16 section of Mathura Tea Estate in Alipurduar district.
The forest department was promptly informed, and upon receiving the news, forest workers arrived at the scene and safely rescued the leopard.
