The first ever solar mission of India, Aditya-L1 has embarked on its journey at 11:50 AM from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Following the successful lunar mission of Chandrayaan-3, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) had launched the most complex mission of Aditya-L1, the first solar mission of India.
According to ISRO, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) countdown for the launch of Aditya-L1, India’s first solar mission, began from Sriharikota on Friday, to study the sun and its impact on the space weather. On Saturday at 11.50 am, the Sun observatory mission was scheduled to launch from the said spaceport.
