Siliguri, 06th July: State ADG (IB) Neeraj Kumar Singh held a meeting with administration officials including the Inspector General (IG) of North Bengal and police commissioner at Siliguri Circuit House on various issues related to security and law and order.
Currently, political violence is being reported in various parts of North Bengal. Discussions were held regarding the law and order situation in those areas and police action on criminal activities.
After the meeting, the IG of North Bengal DP Singh said that a coordination meeting was held in the presence of ADG IB Neeraj Kumar Singh. The meeting was attended by all the IGs of North Bengal and police officials of the adjoining areas.
The meeting was attended by IG of IB department OG Paul, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gourab Sharma, Darjeeling Range DIG Amit P Javalgi, STF SP Jaspreet Singh, Islampur SP, and other administrative officials.
