Siliguri, 12th April: Small screen Bengali actors Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha recently joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC). Ahead of West Bengal’s fifth phase polls, the duo campaigned in support of TMC candidate Om Prakash Mishra from the Siliguri assembly, on Monday.
Reportedly, the roadshow commenced from Gopal More in Siliguri and visited various places including Deshbandu Para and Babupara. During the campaign, leaders and party activists of various wards participated in the roadshow. Crowds of people were gathered on the streets to see Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha.
The actors said that they are receiving positive responses and further claimed that the TMC party will once again win with the majority of votes.
