Rajganj, 12th May: Three people have been critically injured in a road accident at Bandhunagar in Rajganj. Following which, they were rushed to a private hospital in Fulbari. The injured individuals have been identified as Shahjahan Mohammad, Alauddin, and Ranjit Mohammad. They are residents of the Sitaguri area.
According to local sources, the Bandhunagar More at the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway is an important area. There is a high school and primary school situated on both sides of the point. The locals travel through dividers as there is no crossing.
Reportedly, the three were crossing the road on a motorcycle on Tuesday evening, during which, their vehicle collided with a pickup van loaded with goods. They fell and were severely injured in the incident. The pickup van also overturned.
