Siliguri, 12th August: One person was injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles at the Kantivita area under Ghoshpukur-Fulbari more of Phansidewa, on Thursday morning.
It has been learned that a three-wheeler small vehicle carrying fish was heading towards Bidhannagar from Siliguri’s Regulated Market, during which, a gas-laden tanker collided head-on with it in the Kantivita area. The driver of the fish-laden vehicle was injured in the incident. He was rescued and rushed to Phansidewa Gramin Hospital. Meanwhile, traffic congestion was created in the area for a while.
