Naxalbari, 30th June: One person was injured in a road accident on Asian Highway-2 adjacent to Khalpara under Naxalbari Police Station.
It has been learned that a four-wheeler was on its way to Siliguri, during which, the vehicle’s wheel failed and met with an accident. The injured driver was rescued and taken to Naxalbari Rural Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Naxalbari police reached the spot after receiving the news. The police took the vehicle into custody and started an investigation into the incident.
