Dhupguri, 1st March: Sensation prevailed after 2 men, identified as Gopal Mohanto (52) and Naresh Roy (38) died in an accident that occurred near the Dhupguri No. 2 bridge area on Saturday night. After the incident, the agitated locals staged a protest by blocking NH-31.
As per the report, the do was on their motorcycle during which a truck hit them from behind and escaped, killing both the individuals on the spot. Upon receiving the news, the Dhupguri police reached the scene and recovered the bodies. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
