Dalkhola, 18th August: Two people were killed and three injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a four-wheeler car at Bastadangi NH 31 under Dalkhola police station area in Uttar Dinajpur district. The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Ramzan and Mohammad Laden.
According to local sources, a four-wheeler car was heading towards Kisanganj from Dalkhola on Tuesday night, during which, it collided head-on with a private bus coming from the opposite direction. Two died on the spot and three others were critically injured. They were immediately rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Dalkhola police rushed to the spot after receiving the news. Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Islampur Hospital for autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
