Alipurduar, 28th January: Sensation prevailed after a truck met with an accident due to dense fog in the Barobisha Sales Tax area.
As per the report, on Tuesday morning, a loaded truck heading to Kolkata from Assam lost control and rammed into 4 shops along the road in the Barobisha Sales Tax area. A saloon, a motor parts shop and two garages were destroyed in the incident. However, no casualties were reported in the incident. The truck driver was rescued in an injured condition and sent to the hospital.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
