Siliguri, 22nd January: The 37th State Conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was held on January 19 in Jorasanko of Kolkata. The state committee in West Bengal was divided into two groups to facilitate the work. Reportedly, Ashish Mondal is the newly elected president of West Bengal, Viraj Biswas is the editor, along with Abhishek Biswas and Debabrata Bhattacharya as the joint secretary.
At a press conference in the Siliguri Journalists Club, Debabrata Bhattacharya stated that they support CAA despite the CM’s rally in the hills. He further stated that elections are not being held in the college and university for several years. However, he claimed that if elections do take place, then they will win.
