Siliguri, 18th February: With Holi approaching, preparations have begun across the city. ‘Abir’ manufacturing units have started production in anticipation of the upcoming festival season.
At an ‘Abir’ manufacturing unit located in the Chhota Fapri area near Eastern Bypass in Siliguri, work is continuing from morning till night. Workers are engaged in mixing colors, sieving the dry ‘Abir’, and packaging the final product. Factory authorities stated that production has been increased in advance compared to last year.
The unit prepares handmade ‘Abir’ without using harmful chemicals. Natural ingredients and skin-friendly colours are used in the production process. They supply across Siliguri, North Bengal, various districts of the state, and neighbouring states.
With increasing consumer awareness regarding skin safety and environmental concerns, many buyers prefer chemical-free and eco-friendly ‘Abir’ options during the festive season.
