Rajganj, 28th March: Abhishek Banerjee is set to address a public meeting in Rajganj on April 01 in support of Trinamool Congress candidate Swapna Barman ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
The public meeting will be held at a ground in the Sudamganj area under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat. Preparations for the event have already begun, with local Trinamool Congress leaders actively overseeing the arrangements.
On Saturday, Khageswar Roy, Chairman of Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Congress, visited the venue to inspect the preparations. He was accompanied by Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed, Mohammad Zakir, Arjun Das, Tushar Kanti Dutta and other party leaders.
During the inspection, the leaders reviewed key aspects including the location for the main stage and the feasibility of setting up a helipad, along with other logistical arrangements for the upcoming public meeting.
