Rajganj, 31st March: A large election public meeting is scheduled tomorrow at Ambari in the Rajganj Assembly constituency, where Trinamool Congress national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee will address the gathering. The meeting is being held in support of Trinamool candidate Swapna Barman.
Preparations for the event have reached the final stage. On Tuesday, Trinamool leaders visited the venue at Sudamganj ground to inspect the stage construction and other arrangements. Work at the site is progressing rapidly.
Party leaders expect over 50,000 workers and supporters to attend the meeting, adding to the political activity in the area.
