Cooch Behar, 02nd April: Trinamool Congress (TMC) General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee held a meeting with the party leaders of the district regarding upcoming the Lok Sabha polls in Cooch Behar.
According to reports, on Tuesday morning, Abhishek Banerjee reached Cooch Behar from Fulbari. Banerjee offered prayers at Madan Mohan Temple and subsequently visited the district TMC Party Office and held a meeting for about two hours. The meeting was attended by the members of party’s District Election Committee, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad.
According to the party sources, several issues were discussed in the meeting including providing ample importance to all the leaders and workers of the area. The meeting also directed senior leaders to take responsibilities. However, Abhishek Banerjee has not made any statement regarding the meeting.
