Abandoned suitcase sparks bomb scare in Siliguri, turns out to contain clothes

Siliguri, 13th January: Panic erupted in Ghogomali, Siliguri, on Tuesday after an abandoned suitcase raised fears of a possible bomb. Locals grew suspicious when the suitcase was left on the roadside for a prolonged period, creating a tense situation in the area. The police were immediately alerted to the potential threat.

Authorities quickly cordoned off the area, bringing in a bomb squad and a dog squad to investigate the situation. Upon inspection, the suitcase was found to contain only clothes, dispelling fears of an explosive device.

Further inquiry revealed that the suitcase belonged to Chandan Saha, who recently moved with his family to a rented apartment in the area.
