Jalpaiguri, 31st July: A 9-foot long python was recovered from a fishing net in the Bhatia Para area of South Dhupjhora in Meteli block.
The Dhupjhora BIT office was informed and the forest workers reached the spot and rescued the python. After initial treatment, the snake was released into the Gorumara forest.
