Siliguri, 01st May: In a significant breakthrough, the Pradhan Nagar police station has arrested 8 miscreants before executing criminal activities. The arrested miscreants have been identified Shiv Chhetri, Anil Sharma, MD Firoz, Ujjwal Chhetri, Alish Mukhiya, Neema Yolmo, Deepak Gurung and Sajal Rai.
As per police sources, a number of individuals had gathered below the Mahananda Bridge under Ward No. 01 of Siliguri on Tuesday night. Acting on a tip-off, the patrolling team of Pradhan Nagar police station launched a campaign at the said location.
Upon witnessing police presence, the miscreants attempted to flee, however, the police managed to apprehend 8 miscreants. Meanwhile, the police have presented all the accused before the Siliguri court on Wednesday.
