Siliguri, 20th August: On Sunday, the 79th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister (PM) Rajiv Gandhi was celebrated in Siliguri along with the rest of the country.
During the occasion, Darjeeling District Congress General Secretary, Jeevan Majumdar, Editor Abhishek Malakar and other members of the Congress party paid homage by garlanding the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi at the Congress office. In commemoration of the event, General Secretary Jeevan Majumdar shed light on various aspects of Rajiv Gandhi’s life.
