Chopra, 15th July: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of an elderly woman was found hanging from a noose in Bhojpuranigach of Chopra Gram Panchayat. The deceased has been identified as Sanaka Roy (70).
According to local sources, the tenants of the house sighted the woman hanging from a noose on Thursday morning. The neighbors said that the deceased used to live alone in the house.
The locals assumed that she committed suicide out of depression. The Chopra police have launched an investigation into the incident.
