Siliguri, 02nd February: NJP police arrested 70-year-old Monirul Islam in Fulbari Natun Bazar area after recovering 250 grams of brown sugar from his possession. The cops launched a search for the accused on Wednesday night after receiving a tip-off. The estimated market value of the recovered brown sugar is Rs 10 lakh. The accused was produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
