7 feet long python rescued from a scrap warehouse in Siliguri

Siliguri, 11th August: Sensation prevailed after the discovery of a 7-feet long python in a scrap warehouse located in an area adjacent to the dumping ground of Siliguri Municipal Corporation’s (SMC’s) Ward No. 42.


According to reports, on Friday evening, a few workers were engaged in their job, during which, they spotted the huge reptile inside the godown. Subsequently, the information was provided to Salugara Forest Department and the snake rescue team.

Upon receiving the news, snake rescuer Ravi Das arrived at the location, rescued the python, and handed it over to Salugara Forest Department. Later, the rescued snake was released into the deep forest of the Salugara Range.
