Darjeeling, 20th March: Darjeeling Women Police arrested a 58-year-old man on a charge of molesting a minor. According to SI Tshering Sherpa of Darjeeling Women’s Police Station, a 58-year-old resident of Badamtam Tea Garden was arrested in his house by the Darjeeling Police and was produced in Darjeeling court on Friday.
POCSO lawsuit has been filed against the arrested after he was accused of molesting the minor multiple times. According to the law, the accused could be sentenced to more than 10 years or life imprisonment.
