Rajganj, 02nd August: 50 families from Subhash Palli village left other parties and joined Trinamool Congress in Rajganj. The new members were inducted into the party during a programme today at the Public Relations Office in Rajganj Bazar held under the aegis of Sukhani Zone Trinamool Congress.
Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy welcomed the new members and stated that around 200 members from 50 families of the said village joined Trinamool Congress.
During the programme, Sukhani Gram Panchayat President Shampa Dutta, party’s Jalpaiguri district vice-president Sheikh Umar Farooq, Sukhani area president Arindam Bandopadhyay, Sattam Dutta and others were present.
