Rajganj, 08th February: A 5-day fair was organized at Bodaganj in Rajganj to commemorate the Bhramari Devi annual puja. The fair was inaugurated by Krishnakumar Kalyani, a social worker and the Jalpaiguri District President of the Trinamool Congress.
During the event, clothes were also distributed among poor women. The Temple Committee stated that Trisrota Bhramari Devi is worshiped, every year, in Magha Purnima. The Committee further stated that a 5-day fair has been organized to commemorate the Bhramari Devi annual puja, this year. Various cultural programmes will be organized and Baul songs will be performed by the artists from Bangladesh and Kolkata. A ‘Yatra Anthem’ has been organized on February 12.
