Siliguri, 22nd January: The 3rd year of the Saras Mela commenced at the Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium which will continue till February 3. The State Panchayat and Village Development Minister Subrata Mukherjee, Labor Minister Golam Rabbani and President Tapas Sarkar were present at the inaugural event of the fair.
Self-help groups from different districts of the state will be putting up stalls at the fair in which various types of food, clothing, home decor and ornaments will be displayed. Last year, the fair received huge success in Siliguri. Mukherjee invited everyone to visit the fair in Siliguri.
